Eddie Poplawski

Co-founder and CEO, CommercialCondos Inc.

Aside from his role with CommercialCondos, Eddie Poplawski is also the President of Barclay’s Realty & Management Company; a business founded by his Father nearly 45 years ago. Prior to joining Barclay’s, Eddie spent nearly fourteen years at Anderson Chamberlin, Inc. (now known as Anderson Daymon Worldwide), Costco’s in-house manufacturer’s rep firm. During his tenure with Anderson Chamberlin, Eddie held the roles of President/CEO/Chairman and was the sole-owner of the company prior to selling it in 2005. At the present time, Eddie sits on the boards of two Seattle non-profit organizations (Global Partnerships and The Moyer Foundation), three privately held companies (Aegis Living - Redmond, WA, Fast Water Heater - Kirkland, WA and Fitness Anywhere - San Francisco, CA) and is an active member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Eddie earned his undergraduate (BA - Economics & Human Biology) and graduate school (MBA) degrees from Stanford University.

 

Derek J. Doke CCIM

Co-founder and President, CommercialCondos Inc.

Derek Doke is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Washington and is an Asset Manager with Barclay's Realty & Management Company. Prior to joining Barclay's, Derek was the founder and managing member of Tamaris Properties, LLC., where he has built a reputation within the Puget Sound region as a trustworthy Commercial Real Estate Investor/Developer focused on commercial condominiums. Mr. Doke spent 9 years of his 20 year professional career in Public Accounting, including 5 years as a Director with Deloitte & Touche, where he consulted on numerous tax, accounting and 1031 issues arising from commercial real estate developments in the United States, US Territories and Asia.  Derek co-founded AccountingNet/Pro2Net in 1994, as CEO he directed the development and launch of the premier online web community focused on the Accounting & Finance Professional providing News, Research and Continuing Professional Education. The business grew to over 200,000 members before its assets and business model were acquired by SmartPros (Nasdaq:SPRO) in 2001. During his tenure with the company Mr. Doke and his team were recognized by Ernst & Young twice as Entrepreneur of Year finalist. Mr. Doke has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University and postgraduate continuing education from Harvard Business School along with the Wharton School of Business.

James Osgood

Founder and President - Office Finder Network

James Osgood has 32 years of experience in commercial real estate. Much of that time was in assisting tenants in locating office space in the Puget Sound region of Washington. As a professional real estate advisor and broker, James Osgood has provided both buyer and tenant representation. Since 2001 his efforts have been completely focused on the development and management of the OfficeFinder network which generates over 1,300 leads per month to its network members who consists of over 500 commercial agents in over 550 markets and 425 executive suites in nearly 2,000 locations worldwide. James' accomplishments include; Real Estate Licensee since 1979, Certified Commercial Investment Member 1986, Washington State CCIM Broker of the Year 1989, Washington State CCIM Chapter President 1990, Board of Directors of Commercial Investment Brokers, Association (CBA-MLS) 1990 - 1998 CBA-MLS Information Technology Chairman 1995 - 1998, Founder OfficeFinder Network 1995.

Kevin Vanderzanden

President & CEO - Core Design Inc.

Kevin has the dual role of leading Core Design's operations and business development while also providing his clients with the expert land surveying skills. He has been involved in land surveying and development in the greater Puget Sound region for 27 years. He specializes in platting, right-of-way determinations, route surveys, control surveys, condominium surveys and ALTA surveys. Kevin has extensive experience in control and mapping projects in the greater Puget Sound area. Kevin has provided the Washington State Department of Transportation with design surveys for the expansion of I-405 and I-5. He has also provided AT&T with complex control networks for a fiber optic route design survey. Kevin studied Engineering at Portland State University, is a Licensed Land Surveyor in the State of Washington and a member of the Land Surveyors' Association of Washington.

Steve Pope

Founder - Applied Marketing Sciences
Former President - Grubb & Ellis Affiliates, Inc.


Steve Pope is the founder and a partner at Applied Marketing Sciences. Prior to establishing Applied Marketing Sciences, Mr. Pope served as President of Grubb & Ellis Affiliates, Inc. and as an Executive Officer of Grubb & Ellis Company. As president, Steve was responsible for establishing and directing the Grubb & Ellis system of affiliated commercial brokerage services firms in market areas throughout the United States. Grubb & Ellis Affiliates, Inc. serves more than 40 markets nationally, complementing the 60+ markets served directly by Grubb & Ellis Company. Prior to his appointment as President, Grubb & Ellis Affiliates, Pope served as Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing for Grubb & Ellis Company. Steve's 30 years of experience in commercial real estate marketing and sales includes 10 years as Executive Director for the CCIM Institute, a professional society and influential trade association for commercial and investment real estate professionals in the US and worldwide. Mr. Pope received his Masters in Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and his undergraduate BA degree from DePauw University.

Jeff Mandelbaum

Jeff Mandelbaum is a catalyst for growth in technology businesses. For more than 29 years, he has played key executive management roles that helped establish technology industry leaders including Sybase, Commerce One, SunGard Data Systems, and Real Networks. Jeff serves as an advisor to SunGard’s Global Trading business unit, as a venture partner with The Watertower Group, and as Director and advisor to other high potential technology businesses. Jeff’s passion for sales best practices has resulted in the principles he has developed and refined being adopted with significant impact throughout leading technology sales organizations.

Mr. Mandelbaum founded Software Growth Services in 2001 to focus on growth and value creation in high potential software, Internet, technology services, and new media businesses. Jeff has provided advisory services focused on strategy, sales and marketing execution, business development, and corporate finance services for leading venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers , Benchmark Capital, Warburg Pincus, Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe, Baker Capital, Sigma Partners, Starvest Partners, Polaris Venture Partners, SunGard Data Systems, TIBCO Software Inc., and Draper Atlantic.
